Our Story

Born from a Love of Gaming

IronRespawn was founded in 2019 by a group of Sydney-based gamers who were frustrated by the lack of Australian-focused gaming coverage. Too many reviews were written from a Northern Hemisphere perspective, ignoring the unique gaming culture, server infrastructure, and community that makes Australian gaming special.

We set out to build a platform that speaks directly to Australian gamers — with reviews that account for local server performance, coverage of homegrown esports talent, and a community that celebrates everything great about gaming Down Under.

Today, IronRespawn reaches over 85,000 monthly readers and has become the go-to source for Australian esports news, game reviews, and tournament coverage.
